The StarFest 2012 Concours d’Elegance will be held Sunday, September 30th, on the lawns of the Arizona Biltmore Resort. The Concours event, judging, and media events will be followed by the Concours Banquet, where special guest Wayne Carini will serve as Honorary Chief Judge of the Concours d’Elegance.

The StarFest 2012 Track Events will be held at Firebird International Raceway. Tech inspections, Defensive Driving, and Autocross will take place Saturday, while acceleration runs are Monday night under the lights, and time trials on Tuesday, using Firebird’s 1.6 mile main track. Wayne Carini of TV’s Chasing Classic Cars will serve as Honorary Chief Judge of the StarFest 2012 Concours d’Elegance and will make a special award to “The car I’d most like to chase”. Additionally, Mr. Carini will be the keynote speaker during the gala Concours d’Elegance Awards Banquet on Sunday.
The StarFest 2012 Road Rallye has been upgraded to a competitive event, which will be held on Saturday or Sunday, September 29/30 (entrant’s choice). The route is designed to introduce visitors to scenic highlights of the Valley of the Sun. Register on-site for the Rallye at the StarFest Registration booth.
The MBCA’s Educational Foundation will hold a special Teen Driving Class at Firebird International Raceway. The class is being offered to help teens and new drivers avoid the perils of early driving and help prevent the five thousand teen deaths that occur in auto accidents each year in the U.S. Please refer to the Teen Driving Class Schedule.
